Converting your videos recorded with Digital camers

Have you got your own camera? And you started shooting video using your camera? If yes then you will be definitely facing problem to play those video files on your Disk player or if you are trying to make a movie using a ‘Windows movie maker’ right?

Most of the cameras store the video in .MOV format which is QuickTime’s native format. And if you google for conversion tools you first come across ‘Quick Time Pro’ conversion tool, which eats some bucks form your pocket.

I started searching for free and simple tool; then I came across RAD video tool featuring by Bink and Smaker, which I found very simple and easy to use.

I am giving the details here you might found useful.

This tool comes with Bink Video, 24-bit true-color codec, and Smacker, our 8-bit 256-color codec.

Whit this you can convert a bunch of BMPs into an AVI, GIFs into JPEGs, Smackers into flics, QuickTimes into AVIs, wave files into different sample rates, 24-bit images into 8-bit images, etc.

You can use the batch editor to create a list of tasks that can be run in sequence without your presence

You can create self Extracting videos and screen saver, in advanced play options, this is only available for binkers and smakers. For more details click on ‘FAQ s’ button.

It has lot more functions which I have not mentioned here. If you are looking for conversion tool you should give a try to this tool. Download here
